The process is very simple.

Upon first contact, we will chat with the customer to find out the bag details and things like what are the uses for the bag, what products are in the bag, whether they need extras such as air holes, printing, printing plates etc. Customers may help by sending in pictures/samples of what they are after or artwork files of what they would like to print.

Once we gather all the information that we require, the next step is calculate a quotation for the job. The quotation will include the following:

  • Material used

  • Size and dimensions

  • Printing details

  • Printing plate cost (once off cost – reusable for repeat orders for the life of the plates)

  • Extras such as permanent tape or air hole punches on the bag

  • Minimum order required (MOR) or Quantity requested

  • Prices with price breaks if required

  • Freight costs if applicable

  • Trading terms

  • Estimated job timeframe

  • Conditions of sale

A quotation is emailed to the customer for acceptance. Once the customer accepts the quote and/or sends us a purchase order, we begin the production of the bags. Selseal Pak encourages our customer to allocate some time from start to finish. Generally printed jobs take about 3-5 weeks.

If the job requires printing, there is an extra step in the process to design and make the printing plates. Clients are required to email us all the artwork and information that is needed for the artwork design. We accept files in AI or PDF files. If you don’t have any artwork or require a new design, we can do this in house. Selseal Pak offers bags with prints of up to 4 colours (front and back). Artwork proofs are sent to the customer for approval. Once the proof is signed, we get the plates made, than production begins. Generally our quoted job timeframe commences once we receive the plates.

04/

Production goes from extrusion, to printing (if applicable), to converting. Once the bags are completed, paperwork is processed in which payment will be required to be made before goods are dispatched. For customers that prefer pickup, payment will be required to be cleared beforehand or on the day of pickup. Selseal Pak accepts cash, cheque, credit card, EFTPOS or EFT.
